Godalming Town Centre (Red Lion)

Two links between the spine route and Godalming Town Centre are suggested.

This, second link, leaves the spine at Westbrook Road and connects to the area in front of The Red Lion a few yards west of the Pepperpot.  It provides an easy connection for those arriving from the rail-station and from the south.

The one-way nature of Godalming High Street makes it impracticable to route the spine of the Greenway through the town centre.  A more northerly route around the periphery of the Phillips Memorial Park is proposed.  It is clearly essential that this route is linked up with the heart of the town.
